It's a bit surprising how little this game has come up in the gaming community in regards to its similarities to Genshin Impact. People bring up Breath of the Wild all day every day, but yet never mention how Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has a similar style, elemental combination system , open-world exploration mechanics, and m

Even though Uesugi was very reluctant, Kuki manages to convince him to let the gang go in order to clean up the mess they made. Once outside the Police Station, Shinobu does not let the members off the hook easily. As she says that the members deserve a 'Slap on the wrist', you're confronted with the first major choi

I've been revisiting Cyberpunk 2077 and just met a certain someone with a silver hand. If I remember correctly, Act 2 is where all the best side quests open up, so I'm looking forward to spending some solid time hanging out with Keanu and Judy. I'm also midway through the much smaller (but also cyberpunk) RPG Citizen Sleeper, so I'll probably spend the weekend dual-wielding dystopias. Additionally, I've played a bit of Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong, but have not had a chance to ahem sink my teeth in, so that's also on the docket. In other vampire-related news, Morbius is back in my local theater and the deluge of memes has given me a morb id curiosity. I've got AMC Stubs A-List and can see it for free, so who knows? I may make an appointment with the Doctor. Then again, I only have this one precious life.

Yelan receives minimal benefit from the high Base ATK stats of five-star bows, but her signature weapon, Aqua Simulacra , is nonetheless exceptional on her. It provides a staggering amount of Crit DMG, along with an HP boost and an overall damage increase. This bow will certainly make any enemies of Liyue think twice before crossing Ye

I’ve had a sleepy and slow week in the run-up to a rare bank holiday day off, and the games I’ve played have matched that - Cities: Skylines and APICO. Skylines is a go-to game for quiet days when I just want to place down roads. I’m not very good at it. My city is covered in traffic and no one can get to the hospital. Oh well. APICO is a bee-keeping simulator that I played for this week’s indie spotlight, another slow game about collecting, breeding, and eventually manipulating magical bees into producing materials that you then sell to the neighboring villagers for extortionate prices. Brilliant.

Genshin Impact's limited-time event, Perilous Trail , traps players in the puzzling depths of Liyue's Chasm region and challenges them to find a way out. If you're already feeling claustrophobic, don't worry - you can take comfort in the fact that you'll be accompanied by a cast of beloved allies like Yanfei and Itto , plus as a couple of new faces as w

I’m hanging out with my sister this weekend, and while she might not play video games regularly, she is absolutely phenomenal at Pac-Man whenever we go to arcades. So of course I downloaded Pac-Man Museum+ (courtesy of Xbox Game Pass) to see if something in there would be up her alley. Turns out there are a lot of mediocre Pac-Man games out there. We’ve been screaming in frustration at Pac-Land’s strange running mechanics (you have to mash a button to get your Pac-person to move faster) and Pac-Mania’s isometric perspective that does not allow you to see the whole Pac-maze at once. It’s quite a lot of fun. We’re having the time of our lives.

The coordinated attacks from Yelan's Burst are an exceptional source of off-field damage, but they don't strike automatically . One way to trigger the attacks is when Yelan's Skill explodes and damages marked opponents . This means that you can actually use Yelan's Skill after her Burst without wasting too much of her Burst's duration, which can be useful when Yelan's Burst is already charged, and you don't want the Elemental Particles from her Skill to go to wa

Sharpshooter's Oath is actually only one of several three-star bows that are quite good on Yelan. Her Normal Attacks (and her Charged Shots that aren't Breakthrough Barbs) are the only part of her kit that scale with ATK, which means that the lower Base ATK of three-star weapons isn't much of an is

Yelan's optimal Artifact sub-stats are likewise HP%, Energy Recharge, and Crit Rate/DMG . Flat HP isn't useless either, but it's sadly less effective than HP%. Elemental Mastery can also be quite strong on Yelan if you're using her to trigger Elemental Reactions like Vaporize for your t
