Just last week, Square Enix held a Dragon Quest- centric live stream celebrating the series' 35th anniversary where it officially announced Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate . It's been known since 2020 that Square Enix has been working on a follow-up to Dragon Quest 11 , but now it's received an official title. Because of its announcement last week, it's unlikely that Dragon Quest 12 will get any time at Square Enix's E3 showcase . The last anyone's seen of the game was a gameplay showcase in 2019, but little word on when the game will be done has come from the studio in quite some time. Ubisoft has plenty of other games already confirmed to be showcased, so, unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's much new information about Beyond Good and Evil 2 at E3 2


Another opportunity that Fable could take advantage of is upgrading the game's combat system. Every hero should still be able to wield melee weapons, ranged weapons, and magic, but Fable would benefit greatly from increasing the depth of all the options available to the player. Weapons that all feel vastly different from one another would help players be able to better flesh out their own unique playstyle while also adding some much-needed depth to the series' combat encount


This is a bit of a heavy topic for a game to take, but Death Stranding 's best moments come from jumping into really tough situations, like Higgs' backstory and the Chiral Artist's relationship with the Junk Dealer. The same situation might not work as well with Demens, considering the ideological difference there not being something that can be so easily handwaved with a "because video game" mechanic. Fable should look at deepening the morality system and making it feel much more modern and reactive to the player's actions. A system similar to the Warner Brothers' Nemesis System , something that has in-game characters/villain react to choices, would be a great way to do this while also making the player feel as though they have a greater impact on Albion. Having an evil character lead to more good heroes rising up to fight them or a good character leading to more powerful and crazier evil characters would add a lot to Fable 's replayability while making every person's save also unique and more perso
