For any of you who have already reached the Mountaintops but missed a step in Yura's questline, don't worry, Eleonora will still always invade the first time you go to the Second Church of Marika, and Yura's Nagakiba can be found sitting wherever you last spoke with Yura as well, be that Murkwater Cave or one of his other locations.

The third Church of Marika is located in Western Limgrave just north of the Mistwood Ruins. It's a rather peaceful spot except for a lone troll walking around near the entrance of the ruined church . It just so happens that these trolls give 1,000 Runes per k

You can obtain the Nagakiba as soon as you're chucked out of the cave into The First Steps Limgrave . All you have to do is walk up north to the river that connects to Agheel Lake . Following this river a bit, you'll eventually come across a dungeon named Murkwater Cave. And, outside this cave, Bloody Finger Nerijus will invade you. From here you'll want to:

Now for some big-brain risky moves. Those who have ventured a bit into Agheel Lake will have been dissuaded by the nasty dragon who wants to use them as a landing pad. This inopportune moment can be turned into an advantage; players simply need to lure the dragon, Agheel, into crabs and other enemies within the l

Players don't even need to engage the regular-sized enemies at the back of the caravan. Attacking the two trolls will stop the caravan and the players will be free to poke at the trolls without interruption from the rest of the caravan (assuming they stay at the front). The best part is that these trolls are weakened by their chains and can't do much to retaliate apart from the usual stomp. That's an easy 2,000 Runes . Killing the caravan guards will add 1,000 extra Runes to the total earnings. Just rinse and rep

Icon Shield : Just scraping in alongside the most disappointing Greatshields out there, the Icon Shield only has 95% physical damage negation, but its passive ability does slowly regenerate the user's health (3 HP per sec, non-upgradable), potentially making it worth the trade-off in most situations. Elemental stats aren't great either, but with a weight of just 11.5 and reduced Strength requirements, it may appeal to players experimenting with unique builds. Additionally, the Icon Shield's unusual shape and stylish appearance add to its app

Upon killing him, Yura will drop the Nagakiba Katana, a few Runes, and nothing else, so those drooling for his Ronin Armor Set set might want to wait at least a little bit before killing him. To be more precise, if you progress Yura's Questline until you find him at the Zamor Ruins Site of Grace and then kill him, you can get his Armor Set here and find the Nagakiba sitting in his previous location north of Murkwater Cave.

He's crucial to obtaining the Nagakiba katana and another strong weapon that may or may not become available depending on which among the four methods the players choose. For more details and to better weigh which of the methods yield the best rewards or the least amount of effort, here's a hands-on guide on obtaining the Nagakiba.

The last method of obtaining the Nagakiba involves very little effort compared to the other methods, and it's asking for it (for free or from a trade) from other players online. It's obviously a pretty 'lame' way of getting this weapon, but not everyone wants to do entire NPC questlines for a singular weapon. Additionally, for those of you on NG+ runs or on new characters, this method is understandably less involved and easier to do. In any case, if someone agrees to the 'trade', players can create a private game and have someone else drop their spare or unwanted Nagakiba katana in-game.

For those of you who can resist instant gratification and want to reap more rewards later on, talking to Yura instead of killing him when you encounter him north of Murkwater is the better deal overall. Finishing his questline will not only reward the Nagakiba but will also lead to unlocking other weapons and items such as:

Updated on August 12th, 2024, by Vlad Mazanko: Lightning damage has always been one of the most dangerous damage types in Elden Ring. That's why lightning-resistant armor can be a literal life-saver, especially in late-game areas, where the game has more cruel surprises involving lightn

Dragon Towershield : Requiring slightly less Strength to wield than most of the shields on this list, the Dragon Towershield still offers good elemental damage absorption, and a base guard boost of 69, which is more than worth the trade-off. Players may want to consider switching this Greatshield for another option when facing enemies that deal significant amounts of Lightning damage. One common strategy for enhancing this shield is to infuse it with fire when facing formidable bosses like Messmer the Impaler , providing a crucial defensive edge in bat

Depending on how much you want to invest into Endurance, you will likely need to use one of the four Arsenal talismans that can be found throughout the Lands Between (the Great-Jar's version being the strongest). The Best murk farm nightreign arrows to use with the Starscourge build are Radahn's Spears, as they gain a boost to damage when paired with this weapon specifically.
