Still considered very young by Edenian standards Jade possesses over ten millennia of life experience and combative fight training. As well as being a superb and skilled hand to hand fighter Jade is also proficient with many manners of weaponry, including steel fans, bo staff and razor-edged boomerangs. Eventually Lady Kitana would develop doubts over her father Shao Kahn's actions and motives, and when she looked for answers and truths she would discover horrific betrayals, deception, murder and regicide. Kitana would learn that Mileena was not her true biological twin sister rather a clone of herself, one created by Shao Kahn's most trusted adviser Shang Tsung and his dark sorcery and magic.
Jade would also appear in the Mortal Kombat Rayden and Kano mini series. After Kronika kidnaps Liu Kang, Kitana and her Outworld army aided Earthrealm's allied forces against Kronika's army until Raiden merged with Liu Kang's past self and his revenant to become Fire God Liu Kang. As the rest of her allies fought off Kronika's forces, Kitana joined Liu Kang in breaching Kronika's keep. However, Kronika reverses time for everyone except Liu Kang, who faces her and his allies' revenants alone. In one of the game's endings, Liu Kang defeats Kronika and is able to bring Kitana back to help him forge a new timeline. Kitana appears in the fourth installment of the popular video game fighting franchise Mortal Kombat 4, which was also the first Mortal Kombat game to feature fully developed three dimensional models.
At his debut, Liu Kang appeared to be among the dime a dozen Bruce Lee pastiches; an adult of Chinese origin with a bare chest, black pants and white shoes. From MKII and onwards, he is depicted with shaggy black hair, red headband, spiked gauntlets and red and black Kung Fu pants, still keeping his upper body bare. He gains a ghastly green tint on his decaying skin, showing the most damage on his peeling face. He retains the same attire but now wears a pair of chains with hooks attached to his gauntlets which he can use to reel in his opponents, though this is never actually used in-game. I don't think the Kitana from MK Vs DC opening a portal would translate to Old/New Timeline Kitana being able to do so.

Jade appears in Mortal Kombat Unchained which is a hand held video game version of Mortal Kombat Deception. Jade and Smoke would be acting under service of Shao Kahn, acting as his top assassins. When Goro would return after his defeat in the first Tournament he would seek vengeance by targeting Earth Realm warriors and severely beating them.

Orin though still had enough strength to allow Taven into Outwolrd to hunt the sorcerer down. Liu Kang has been shown to be one of the most powerful characters in the entire Mortal Kombat series. He possesses an incredible level of acrobatics, agility, strength and buy xanax without prescrition martial arts. He is able to shoot them out as fireballs and use them as part of his finishers. It is used in the later games such as MK4, MKD, and MKA, it also serves as Liu Kang's primary costume in Shaolin Monks. In MKvsDCU, Liu Kang is wearing the same oufit but with a different appearance and in MK2011, Liu Kang's later appeared, this time with a red sash and the Elder Gods' medallion on it.

At some point in the past the Emperor of Outworld Shao Kahn would succeed in conquering Edenia and would come to merge the Edenian realm with Outworld to rule over both. Still a young child at the time Jade would be given to Shao Kahn as a tribute and gift by her family. Shao Kahn would take the young girl and force her into intense training, honing and chiseling the young Edenian into a lethal fighting machine, and proficient assassin. Luckily, Liu Kang arrived at the right time as Cage was being attacked by a Tarkatan horde. Now joined with Johnny and new found friend Jax they finally traveled to Outworld.
The Earthrealm warriors would fail and be slain that day, Quan Chi was able to fight and kill Princess Kitana one on one. Leaving the Thunder God Raiden to fight the Deadly Alliance by himself. The battle looked to be in Raiden's favor though the sorcerers eventually defeated him.
